Act 1:
Macbeth and Banquo have just arrived from a war with the Scottish. As they are walking, Macbeth and Banquo encounter three witches. These witches tell them that Macbeth will become a King. Banquo is told that his children will be kings and queens. Macbeth, surprised with the news, goes home and tell his wife the great news. Lady Macbeth is overwhelmed with greed and makes up a plan for them to reach their goal faster. The Macbeth's invite the king, Duncan, over for dinner. Their plan is to drug the king and the guards. After they are sleeping, Macbeth will go and kill the King and the guards will be covered with blood so that they will take the blame.
Act 2
In Act 2 Malcom is talking to Banquo and fleane. They talk about the witches. Then Macbeth stays by himself in the room and sees a dagger floating and talks to himself. Macbeth goes to kill Duncan. Meanwhile, Lady Macbeth stays outside in the hallway and is worried about the sons of Duncan. They think that they could have heard something. Macbeth comes out and Lady Macbeth realizes that Macbeth did not leave the daggers in the room. Macbeth says that he doesn't want to go back to the room so Lady Macbeth takes the daggers back inside the room. When she comes out, they hear a knock at the door. It's Macduff. Macbeth & Lady Macbeth leave to clean up. Everyone finds out that King Duncan has died. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth act as if they do not know how it happened. Duncan's sons runaway to two different countries so that they will not be killed. People assume that they killed their own father. Since both the sons ran away, Macbeth becomes king.
Act 3
Banquo goes on in a soliloquy about how he thinks that Macbeth murdered King Duncan to for fill what the witches had told him. Banquo stays quiet but his suspicions go on. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth invite Banquo and his son to a party that they are hosting that evening. As soon as Macbeth is alone, he summons two murders to kill Banquo and Fleance while they are out on a trip. The murders end up only killing Banquo and his son escapes. Macbeth & Lady Macbeth get ready for the party and invite important leaders to attend. During the dinner, everyone is having a good time until Macbeth sees the ghost of Banquo. In front of everyone, Macbeth begins to yell at Banquo. Nobody else sees Banquo so they assume that he is going crazy. Macbeth sees Banquo twice during the dinner. The last time, Lady Macbeth just tells everyone to leave. Later on, Ross and Lenox try to come up with a plan to overcome Macbeth.

The witches appear to Macbeth. The witches come and give Macbeth some warnings. There are three warnings. One is that he needs to beware of Macduff. Another is that a person born from a woman will not hurt him. The last one is that trees will come after him. A couple of little boys appear and scare Macbeth. People are beginning to die for saying things about Macbeth. Lady Macduff and her children are killed. Malcolm and Macduff decide to go into war and fight him for his crown.

Lady Macbeth begins sleep walking so nurses are called in to the house to attend her. Lady Macbeth has lost her mind. She has been feeling guilty about murder. Lady Macbeth ends up dieing. At the end there is a battle between Macduff and Macbeth. Macduff uses a tree strategy that involves carrying tree limbs. Macbeth gets decapitated by Macduff and dies. Malcolm becomes king ad the evil disappears.
